Rules

On this card, play these mitigations:
“Exercise” or “Vitamins”

Optional

Background

Gravity is important to the human body, and without it astronauts’ bones, muscles, and blood can break down. Gravity is weaker on planets and moons that are smaller than the Earth. On the Moon, things weigh one-sixth of what they weigh on Earth. On Mars, things weigh one-third of what they weigh on Earth. In orbit around the Earth, gravity is still strong, but astronauts cannot feel it because of freefall.
