“Too Hot/Too Cold”

Optional

Background

When we build houses, suits, and vehicles, we can add thick layers out of many types of materials to protect the inside from the extreme temperatures of the outside. Sometimes it’s as easy as adding wool mittens to protect our hands from the cold. To protect future astronauts, NASA has also thought of burying habitats underground or adding a layer of water, which can help protect against the extreme conditions of space.
